About Me

Hi!  Thanks for stopping by my blog.  🙂  Here’s a little bit about me and my cooking passion.

I’m Poonam, from Mauritius.  I’ve just finished 5 years at medical school and finally I have all the free time I was long waiting for!  Atleast until I begin my 2 years of internship.   That’s when I developed this interest for cooking and trying out new recipes.  I’ve been enjoying experimenting recipes in the kitchen during the past few months and I love the feeling that I get when I create something great from scratch.  There have been disasters and disappointments as well but I’m still an amateur cook.  This is the beginning of my cooking adventures and I am more than willing to explore the culinary worlds and learn more.

How I started blogging?  Well, I’ve been browsing through the net to find recipes and cooking ideas.  That is how I discovered the blogging world and I got inspired by the great food blogs out there.  🙂  Why not create a blog of my own to keep a record the recipes I’ve tried and my personal experiences in the kitchen?  “Bites Of Sweet And Spice” is where I’m going to write about my culinary adventures and I would love to share these with anyone interested.

This is the beginning of my blogging journey and hopefully it is going to be a long one.  Your comments, suggestions or requests will be most welcome.

Hope you enjoy it!!  🙂
